Solar PV Feed In Tariff rate increase

The government have announced that the feed in tariff for Solar PV is set to rise 4.8% in line with inflation on 1st April 2011.

After this date for every unit you generate you will now be paid 43.3p, whether you use it or not.

Solar Thermal and Solar PV for Mr and Mrs Woodland in Parkstone, Poole

We recently installed both Solar Thermal and Solar PV systems for Mr and Mrs Woodland in Parkstone, Poole.

The solar photovoltaic system includes twelve Sanyo HIT 240 watt modules and a Sunny Boy 3000TL inverter, with bluetooth remote. These have all been installed south facing to maximum energy absorption.

The solar thermal system uses Barrilla 25 evacuated tube collectors, with a solar pump station and new 300 Litre twin coil cylinder to provide heating and hot water.
